Canary Islands (48/72-by sea), Ceuta, Melilla, Andorra and Gibraltar

All deliveries to or from the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Andorra and Gibraltar, must travel with the necessary documents for Customs Clearance at origin and destination. A lack of said documentation or ignorance of the requirements that follow will cause a delay in the service. 

Commercial Deliveries

Original commercial invoice signed, stamped and numbered.
With the following details:
  1. Exporter:
    • Full name and address.
    • Tax Identification Number or National Identification Number with the name of the bearer.
       
  2. Consignee:
    • Full name and address.
    • Tax Identification Number or National Identification Number with the name of the bearer.
       
  3. Detailed description of the goods.
     
  4. Individual values and total value.
     
  5. Depending on delivery conditions, give: CIF Value, FOB Value, EXW Value, etc. all in the corresponding currency.
     
  6. Statistical units of the goods; for instance pairs of shoes, number of trousers, etc.
     
  7. Number of parcels.
     
  8. Gross weight and net weight.
     
  9. Exporter conditions; for instance manufacturer, wholesaler. 

Non-commercial Deliveries

Original commercial invoice signed, stamped and numbered.

With the following details:
  1. All according to points 1, 2, 3 and 8 of section A.
     
  2. Value of the goods for statistical purposes. 

Deliveries from Individuals

Sworn declaration including:
  1. Name, address and National Identification Number of the shipper (attach photocopy).
     
  2. Name, address and National Identification Number of the consignee.
     
  3. Detailed description of the goods.
     
  4. Value for statistical purposes.
NB: Declaration Forms are available for customers. 

Changes of Residence

  1. Declaration as per section C.
     
  2. Elimination from register for the effects of change of residence.
     
  3. List of content with value per parcel.
NB: No pro forma invoices will be accepted. “0” value will not be accepted. Invoices without VAT. It is recommendable to give the telephone number of both the shipper and the consignee. Deliveries to Andorra and Gibraltar do not require the consignee Tax Identification Number. 

Very important notes (for deliveries to the Canary Islands 48/72 and by sea, Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra) 

€17.37 will be charged for export clearance process in the Iberian Peninsula, Canary Islands and Melilla.

Dispatches from Ceuta for the Iberian Peninsula will incur the following charges for export clearance:
  • National dispatches with single clearance: €38.20.
     
  • National dispatches with multiple clearances, consult Ceuta branch.
€26.31 will be charged for export clearance process in Andorra.

For the Canary Islands by sea, €22.00 will be charged for each customs clearance at origin.

For import clearance process in:
  1. CANARY ISLANDS:
    • For deliveries with a value of €150.25 or under, €13.99 plus current taxes will be charged.
    • For deliveries with a value of more than €150.25, €26.31 plus current taxes will be charged.
       
  2. IBERIAN PENINSULA: €26.31 will be charged.
     
  3. ANDORRA: €9.88 will be charged.
     
  4. CEUTA AND MELILLA: The clearance charge is €17.37.
All dispatches to Ceuta containing foreign goods will incur a special entry customs charge of €35.40, in addition to the regular €17.37.

In dispatches from Andorra to the Iberian Peninsula, a single tariff will be charged for the export customs clearance process in Andorra, of €26.30.

The value for statistical purposes is given by the shipper and is not a contractual declaration (see point 6 of the General Conditions Of The Contract Of Carriage: Declared Value Insurance).

All additional amount derived from air transport that may be charged to the Agency according to the content of the goods will be passed on.

The exporter and/or importer of the goods authorises the customs agent designated by the Transport Agency to perform the customs procedures, in accordance with current regulations. If the dispatch were made by order of the shipper or receiver to a customs agent other than that designated by the Transport Agency, the service will be deemed concluded to all effects with the delivery of the merchandise and documents to this agent, and the responsibility of the carrier will end through fulfilment of contract at this time.

No export clearance is needed by dispatches meeting the following requirements:
  1. Destination Canary Islands:
    • Value up to €150.25.
    • Non-commercial dispatch.
    • Weight of 15 kg or under.
       
  2. Destination Andorra:
    • Envelopes containing documents.
       
  3. Destination Melilla:
    • Non-commercial dispatch (value for statistical purposes).
    • Goods with a value of €22 or under (both companies and individuals).
    • Weight of 25 kg or under.
    • Dimensions: 0.30 x 0.30 x 0.30 m and 25 kg per parcel.
No import clearance is needed by dispatches meeting the following requirements:
  1. Dispatches from the Iberian Peninsula to Andorra: envelopes containing documents.
     
  2. Deliveries Melilla-Iberian Peninsula: the incoming clearance is added to the outgoing and the two items are charged together on departure. 

Special conditions applicable to the standard tariff

  • Reimbursement service: A charge of 5.50% over the reimbursement value (minimum €5.87, maximum €122.21) is established as the amount of the reimbursement service. The aforementioned charge includes collection management and insurance of losses or damage to the merchandise up to the total reimbursement amount, with the exception of perishable merchandise to which general condition 5 will be applicable. If the delivery has been agreed carriage due, in no case will delivery be made against reimbursement if the carriage is not paid at the same time.
     
  • Pick-ups in Madrid: For SEUR 24 service pick-ups made in Madrid (City Centre), the price of the deliveries will be increased by €1.63 for shipments of up to one kg, and €4.90 for all other shipments, plus VAT.
     
  • Saturday delivery complementary service: €8.74 will be charged for the Saturday delivery complementary service. Preferential Saturday delivery is contracted with this complementary service. 

The time calculation excludes public holidays at destination and the Saturday of Easter Week.
  • Saturday pick-up complementary service: €8.74 will be charged for the Saturday pick-up complementary service. Saturday pick-up compatible with preferential services and the SEUR 24 service is contracted with this complementary service.

  • Delivery slip: The Delivery Slip Complementary Service can be contracted to confirm delivery at destination (consult prices). 
Information note: The Notice to SEUR of the personal data of the shipper or recipient for completion of the prolonged carriage contract constitutes an assignment of data, pursuant to the terms of Section 11 of the Organic Personal Data Protection Act, dated 15/1999 (LOPD) as well as Section 20.1 of Royal Decree 1720/2007 (RDLOPD). The assignor declares that it obtained the personal data of the interested party legally and legitimately. In addition, the assignor declares that it obtained the consent of the interested party for the notice to SEUR of any personal data necessary for digital communications to the affected party, which will be carried out by SEUR for improving and expediting the execution of the carriage contract, by means of the delivery of SMS or emails, as appropriate.
This assignment obliges SEUR to observe the provisions of the aforementioned Act (LOPD) and its implementing legislation and, in particular, holds it to professional secrecy, pursuant to the terms of Section 10 LOPD, with respect to any personal data notified to it.
